Master One Productions’ Cool Shade Riddim is a breezy, beachside reggae juggling that arrived in 2012 and later surfaced on digital platforms in 2013. The project came from producer Jyorken Kennedy, whose Master One imprint had already been tied to artist management and earlier rhythm work in Jamaica, with a catalogue that includes projects beyond this one. This one sits comfortably in that lane: rootsy enough to keep the message central, but polished for modern reggae radio and online rotation.

The sound is warm and open, with a relaxed groove that leaves space for the singers. The instrumental has a sunlit, bonfire feel rather than a hard-driving one, and that softness gives the vocals room to carry the emotion. Across the juggling, the songs circle love, longing, loneliness and spiritual reflection, which fits the title and the easy late-afternoon mood of the rhythm.

The strongest names on the riddim are Richie Spice, Anthony B, Turbulence, Lukie D and Teflon. Richie Spice’s “Your Love” brings his familiar conscious warmth, while Anthony B’s “Feeling Lonely” and Turbulence’s “Over You” push the emotional side harder. Lukie D’s “Hold You” gives the project a smooth lovers rock edge, and Teflon’s “Love And Adore You” adds another strong melodic cut. Tydal, Tony Frass, Omari, Junior X, Fyakin, D’Koncep and Akeem Garrison round out the juggling with lesser-known voices that help the riddim feel like a proper sound-system showcase rather than a star-only vehicle.
