A brisk little one-riddim set, this one leans on a clean, rootsy swing while letting the voices do the talking, with Sizzla’s “Tender Touch” and the Mykal Rose and Chukki Starr pairing on “Ghetto Life” giving it the strongest lift. Special Delivery Music keeps the arrangement tight enough that Jamelody’s “I Told You, ” Ziggi’s “Shackles and Chains, ” and Tiwony’s “R. E. P. ” each land with their own tone without ever pulling the riddim off course. It originally surfaced in 2008 and was issued as a five-track set, credited to Special Delivery Music throughout, which makes the whole thing feel more like a focused session than a sprawling compilation.
