ER Riddim keeps things lean and gritty, a four-song dancehall set from Allfaces Ent and Darshan Recordz that hangs on a raw, bouncy pulse rather than any heavy polish. Turbulence comes in first with All If Yo Run Way, and his sharp delivery sits nicely against the riddim’s nagging little bounce, while Gully Bop’s Er is the obvious curiosity here, all rough-edged personality and sly swagger. Savage and Candy Price each get their turns, but the project feels most alive when it’s letting those voices trade space over the same stripped-back groove. It’s a small release, really, just four cuts and done, but that’s part of the charm.
