Empty Bottle Riddim – Vegas House Music

Not much mystery here: Vegas House Music keeps the Empty Bottle Riddim moving at a brisk 2014 dancehall clip, and the cut that tends to pull the ear first is Skarra Mucci’s “Center Of Attraction, ” right in the middle of a ten-track run. The lineup has that mixed crew feel you get on a lot of sharp one-riddim sets, with Boetje Banten and Johnny Den Artiest, Co Gee, Puppah Finga, Singin Gold, Soultrain and Wonda Prince all taking a swing at the same rhythm. Vegas House Music had the project out that year, and the ordering feels deliberate, with the more playful titles opening up into the tougher ones before the version closes it out cleanly.
