Dream Link Riddim – Starz Records

Dream Link lands with a hard, trim dancehall pulse and a roster that leans more street-level than star-heavy, which gives the whole set a rough, lively edge. Macka Diamond’s “Party” feels like the anchor cut here, while Ice Block’s “Street Badness” and Hotta Mud’s “Money Mi Pree” keep the energy in that bragging, daytime-turns-nighttime zone. Starz Records had already been pushing out one-riddim work around this period, and this one sits neatly beside those 2020 and 2021 outings, with the same straight-to-the-point feel but a tighter, more compact roll. Ten artists share the riddim, including Cretique, Fire Fox, Jermaine Michael and zy boss, and the whole package plays like a snapshot of Starz Records’ run of no-frills dancehall jugglings in 2021.
