Diseases Riddim (2006) – Outa Sound Records

Outa Sound Records’ 2006 take on the Diseases rhythm sits right in that long Mad Mad family tree, but this version keeps the focus tight with just three cuts and no wasted motion. Anthony B’s “Rasta Drive Dem Crazy” and Capleton’s “Believe It” ride the familiar, sharp-edged dancehall framework with militant energy and a lean, sparing arrangement that leaves plenty of room for the vocals to hit.
