Di Building Block Riddim arrived out of the 2021 dancehall run with a tidy six-track setup that keeps the focus on rhythm and the voices riding it. Building Block Productions keeps the frame compact: five songs plus the instrumental, each cut sitting around that tight 2: 50 mark, which gives the project a quick, jukey pace rather than a sprawling one-riddim feel. ReniGad’s “New Me” opens with the sharpest pull, while Meggydon and Juntyle bring a good back-and-forth on “Vibes, ” and Skeptikal’s “Roll Up” leans into the harder, more street-side energy. Sekklez and Banging keep the momentum moving through “After Party” and “Spring Wata, ” but ReniGad is the one who leaves the clearest imprint here.
