Philly Anthem Riddim – Dinesty Kxng Muzik

Dinesty Kxng was just getting his new label moving when Philly Anthem Riddim landed in March 2021, and it sounds like a sharper, more focused statement than a loose various-artists set. The riddim carries a lean, springy dancehall pulse with enough bite for pull-up-style hooks, and the lineup keeps the energy on the street side: Avanzce’s “Money Pree, ” Cracka Don’s “Hype Life, ” and Hotfrass on “Critics” all ride the groove with different shades of grit. Jah Torius gets the title cut, and that track ends up feeling like the centrepiece, built for the dance but trimmed down enough to hit clean on radio too. Navino’s “Mean” closes it out and leaves the rhythm with a hard-edged finish.
