Ivy Scott’s “Menace To Society” gives Dennis Riddim its sharpest opening shot, and it sets the tone for a compact six-track soca set from Impulse Production that doesn’t waste time getting to the hook. The riddim keeps things lively and clean, with AJ Matic’s “Tellin Yuhself” and Sir Vival’s “Oar” leaning into that bright, road-ready swing, while the Temptress and Deno Outta Range Mason pairing on “Ah Doh Have” adds a bit more bite in the middle. Gooty’s “Mango, ” with Supa Smooth in tow, closes it out on a lighter tip, and the whole project runs just 16 minutes, quick enough to feel like a Carnival sketch rather than a full parade.
