Out of Trinidad and the wider soca circuit in 2019, Unrully Riddim leans into the rowdy, jab-heavy energy that Can’t Stop Records was pushing that year, with only four cuts and no filler to hide behind. Skinny Banton and Tallpree setting off “Unruly 473” gives it the biggest pull, while Loose Cannon’s “No Sense” and Pantan’s “Wat U Doing Here” keep the pacing sharp and irreverent. It’s a leaner project than the label’s earlier Burnout Riddim from the same year, but that’s part of the appeal: less crowding, more room for each voice to land.
