Crown Royal Riddim – Prodigy Records

Prodigy Records keeps Crown Royal Riddim lean and to the point, with four dancehall cuts that move from the sharp-edged opener “Cut” into the title track from Dp and Morango, then J Yungg’s smoother “Good Life” before Jahvillani closes it out with “Action Speak. ” Released in July 2019 and clocking in at just around 14 minutes, it’s one of those compact juggling packages where the sequencing matters as much as the names on it. Chilando sets the tone early, but the final stretch is where the riddim really locks in, and Jahvillani’s “Action Speak” lands as the one that leaves the strongest mark.
