CRANBERRY RIDDIM produced by VARIOUS ARTISTS 2007
Cranberry Overview
Back in 2007, the Cranberry Riddim came to life in Jamaica’s dancehall scene. The riddim architect, known as VARIOUS ARTISTS, was already making waves in the industry. With a reputation for producing club hits and working with top labels, VARIOUS ARTISTS knew how to blend gritty beats and smooth dancehall flow. The Cranberry Riddim was built for both the dancefloor and anyone who loves dancehall’s energy. In the studio, the producer brought together a strong lineup. Each artist brought their own fire to the riddim. Aisha gave us “Love Away,” a track that stands out with her unique voice. Christopher, known for his earlier hit “Lady In Red,” delivered “Party Like Jamaicans,” bringing that true party vibe. Deh Deh’s “Gang War” added a raw street feel, while Delly Ranx, who is respected for his songwriting and production work, dropped “I Am For The Girls.” Elephant Man, famous for songs like “Pon De River Pon De Bank,” turned up the heat with “Tek Time Nuh.” The Cranberry Riddim also featured Frankie Sly with “Ghetto Youths,” Konshens on “Street Life,” Lexxus with “Mek A Fi Sound,” Peppa’s “At Home,” and Spice’s “Good O.” DJs kept spinning these tracks in clubs and sessions, keeping the Cranberry Riddim alive and making it a true dancehall classic from 2007.
