Cool Breeze Riddim (2019) – Epik Music Group

Cool Breeze runs on a bright, airy dancehall pulse, but Epik Music Group keeps the cut moving with enough bite to stop it from drifting into background music. The strongest pulls here are the pairings that give the riddim some real personality: Shane O’s “Gallis Pastor” has that cheeky streetwise snap, while Shatta Wale’s “Cash Life (The Baddest)” brings a harder, more swaggering edge in both clean and raw versions. Vybrant’s “All That” and Braintear Spookie’s “Alright” keep the energy up too, but the project really hangs together because the voicing is spread across a broad cast without losing the tune’s easy sway. It’s one of those juggling-style sets where the instrumental matters as much as the singers, and the Epik Jones “Cool Breeze” cut gives the whole thing its name and final shape.
