Tun It Up Riddim (2019) – Steamatic Records

A raw, speaker-rattling dancehall cut, Tun It Up Riddim moves with that stripped-back, hardcore energy that leaves plenty of room for the artists to cut through, and Steamatic Records keeps it tight with a nine-track setup dating to 2019. Al Pancho’s “Real To The Game” sits neatly in the middle of it, matching the riddim’s militant pulse with a veteran’s calm authority, while Determine’s “Time Fi Talk” and Bas360’s title-cut shout keep the pressure on from different angles. There’s a nice bit of contrast in the lineup too, with Jah Ice, Shiloh K, Freshman, and the Wizzdumb/K-Nice pairing all pushing their own angle over the same bruising backbone. As an aside, the instrumental closes things out clean.
