Conect Riddim – Fox Fuse

Fox Fuse’s Conect Riddim lands in that bright, road-ready soca pocket where the groove stays nimble but the attitude stays sharp, and with only three cuts it keeps the focus tight on the singers rather than piling on extras. College Boy Jesse opens things with “Better Now, ” Lyrikal leans into the mischief on “Feting Victim, ” and Skinny Fabulous brings the pressure on “Trouble, ” a track list that gives the riddim a nice spread of voices without breaking the feel.
