A bright, percussive soca cut with a strip of carnival tension running through it, Cabasa Riddim lands with just three songs and keeps the focus on the groove rather than crowding the frame. Dirty Dog’s “Deportee” leads the set, with Lavaman’s “In Too Deep” and 1Donkey’s “Under D Influence” filling out the sequence in tidy, radio-ready order, each track coming in at just under three minutes.
