Christmas Reggae Overview
Christmas Reggae Riddim came out of Trinidad and Tobago in 2007, bringing a fresh reggae sound that matched the style of that year. The riddim was used by several talented artists, each adding their own flavor. Fireball performed the track “All I Really Want.” Fireball is widely known for his international hit “What I Want,” which brought him recognition outside the Caribbean. Khari Kill, another respected artist from Trinidad and Tobago, delivered “Boys And Girls.” Khari Kill is best known for his song “Picture of Selassie,” which is a favorite among reggae fans. Marlon Asha F. Dainjemental & Gailann teamed up for “Bring Back The Love,” while Mr King brought his own energy with the song “Scrouge.” Queen Omega, who has performed at major reggae festivals around the world, contributed “Light The Colly Tree.” She is known for her strong vocals and conscious lyrics.
