Bumpa Riddim – Yellow Moon Records

In the mid-2010s dancehall run, Yellow Moon Records kept things tight with Bumpa Riddim, a three-artist juggling that leans on a blunt, party-ready groove and the kind of clean/raw split that was common for the era. Charly Black’s “Gimme” gets the most room here, and it’s easy to hear why: his cut comes in both clean and raw versions, just like Razor B’s “On Top” and OCG’s “Goodie, ” giving the project a straightforward club-and-radio setup. The pack closes with the instrumental, listed as “Bumpah Riddim, ” so you get the rhythm on its own after the vocal passes.
