Recorded at Mafia & Fluxy Studio in Tottenham in 2003, this Roots Steppa Rythm has been played by the best UK Sound Systems such as Channel 1, Aba Shanti, or Jah Shaka. Mixed by Gussie P Ina Warrior Style in 2005 !!!

Irie Ites decided to make a re-issue of this project with a brand new mix & mastering + 4 exclusive dub versions by Jericho – Irie Ites producer!

Borderline Riddim, credited to Irie Ites Records and Evidence Music, is a 2022 reggae juggling built on a roots steppa foundation that was originally composed by Mafia and Fluxy with Buttons aka Matic Horns and recorded at Mafia and Fluxy Studio in Tottenham back in 2003. The release pulls together a broad vocal lineup featuring Turbulence, Chezidek, Luciano, Lutan Fyah, Jah Mason, Lyricson, Perfect Giddimani, Spectacular, Malijah, Ras Mc Bean and more, with Burnin’ Blaze, Powers Of The Lion, Wake Up Call and Borderline among the key cuts. It has the feel of a seasoned UK-rooted production, with horns, heavyweight bass and a sound system-minded pulse that gives the whole set a rugged, conscious edge.
