JA Productions is the imprint built around Justus Arison, the Jamaican producer behind some of the cleaner, more contemporary-sounding dancehall and reggae projects of that era. This one is a 14-track set on the 2012 release dated August 14, with the instrumental also issued alongside the vocal cuts.

The riddim has a warm, steady pulse rather than a hard bashment charge, which gives the singers room to work melody and message. It sits more in a modern roots pocket: crisp drums, clean bass weight, and a patient groove that leaves space for conscious writing and lovers material. That balance is the reason it lands with artists like Duane Stephenson, Etana, Lutan Fyah, I-Wayne, and Turbulence, all of whom know how to stretch a tune without forcing it.

Capleton’s “Weh Dem A Try” brings the fire as expected, while Etana’s “War” adds a sharp, feminine edge against the same rhythm. Duane Stephenson smooths things out on “Gyal Yuh Nice, ” and Gyptian’s “Karma” keeps the set moving with that easy, melodic touch he had already made his signature. Lutan Fyah’s “Cherish The Earth” and Sizzla’s “Make Me Yours” give the project its strongest roots-conscious pull, while Spragga Benz and Khago help widen the range without breaking the riddim’s calm center.
