Voiceful Records’ Black Jack Riddim came out in 2007, and the set keeps things focused with six voiced cuts: Beenie Man’s “Some Gal, ” Bounty Killer’s “Judas, ” Sizzla’s “Chat Up Dem Mouth, ” Turbulence’s “Who Fool Dem, ” Currency’s “Nuh New, ” and Vybz Kartel’s “Various Guns. ” The lineup leans heavy on name-brand dancehall firepower, with Bounty Killer and Turbulence both landing especially sharp entries, while Kartel and Beenie Man give the riddim its broad commercial pull.
