Black Blood Riddim – M Bass Productions

A dark, low-slung 2008 dancehall cut, Black Blood Riddim has that hard-edged M Bass pulse you feel more than you hear, with Charley Blacks’ “Clitarus” and Sizzla’s pair of cuts pushing it into raunchy, streetwise territory. T. O. K’s “Turn Mi On” gives the project a sharper, more playful jolt, while Dada and Einstein keep the pressure on with ruthless one-drop chatter over the same grimy framework. Mark Bartley’s M Bass name sits behind the whole thing, and the lineup leans into the kind of raw, mid-2000s energy that made riddim albums move fast in the dance, right down to the extra Sizzla tune tucked in at the end.
