Big Stone Riddim – Sky Recordz Productions

Sky Recordz Productions kept the 2005 Big Stone Riddim lean and direct, with just two cuts carrying the juggling: King Fresh’s “Myself And I (Accapella)” and Turbulence’s “Respect Di I. ” That small track count gives the release a stripped-back feel, more like a focused showcase than a crowded compilation, and the a cappella opening from King Fresh adds an odd little twist before Turbulence steps in with the more traditional roots-minded chant. Sky Recordz would later appear under the shorter Sky Recordz name as well, but here the production credit is firmly tagged to the full imprint. Big Stone Riddim was issued in 2005.
