Just Friends Riddim came out in 2001 on Techniques Records, later issued as a 2005 Riddim Driven set through VP/Techniques. The compilation brings together a strong roots-leaning lineup with Tony Rebel and Swade on Just Friends, George Nooks on Girl Friend, Richie Stephens on Bring Back The Love, Glen Washington on Satisfaction Guaranteed, and Natural Black on Nuh Promote Nuh Violence. Other cuts from Frankie Paul, Lukie D, and Candy Man round out the set, giving the riddim a mix of lover’s rock, conscious songs, and straightforward dancehall vocals.
