Braveheart Riddim – Techniques Records

Braveheart Riddim came out on Techniques Records in 1997 as a three-song dancehall set with Lexxus, Mad Cobra and Scare Dem Crew on the lineup. The tracklist keeps it tight with Lexxus on Ardie, Mad Cobra’s Gal Want A Man and Scare Dem Crew’s Hold On Strong, and the release is one of those rare 1990s Techniques cuts that leans on a small but memorable cast rather than a long juggling. Techniques is one of Jamaica’s long-running labels, and this riddim lands in the same hard-edged dancehall lane that made the era so strong.
