Streetblaze’s Beautiful Beyond Riddim doesn’t chase the big, glossy bashment sound you might expect from a modern dancehall juggling; it stays lean and more reflective, with a raw, grassroots feel running through the whole set. Claudius England’s title cut is the emotional anchor, while Caldhino’s “The Pain” leans harder into hurt and frustration, giving the riddim a bruised edge that sits nicely against Noah’s “Protect I and I, ” which brings a more devotional pull. Bingiman’s “The House On the Hill” adds a different texture again, a little more story-driven and rooted in everyday struggle. Streetblaze keeps the track count tight at five, including the version, so there’s no fat on it.
