Baltimore Riddim arrived in 2018 from BGB Records as a 12-track juggling showcase, pairing a steady roots-dancehall feel with a mix of singers and deejays. The set brings together Angenita, Bas360, Brymmie, Chantal, Justice Merchant, King Shadrock, Larry Dread, Patrice Ward, Ras Discipline, Romeo Django and Singing Hanour, with tracks like Your the Only One, You Say You Can’t, Just Gun Shot a Bark and I Wanna Be Down giving the project its strongest hooks. BGB framed it as a showcase for some of its newer dancehall talent, and the mix was handled in Jamaica by Donald Dixon at Music Works Studio, which helps give the release a clean, polished finish.
