Oneness Riddim – Good Over Evil

2018 was one of those years when conscious roots was still leaning hard on small, self-contained riddims, and Good Over Evil’s Oneness fits that moment neatly with its four vocal cuts and a dub. Sista Livity opens the set with “Oneness, ” while Pato Ranking’s “Confio” brings a slightly more militant edge, and Robel the Earthiopian’s “Take a Lift” keeps the message-forward tone moving over a lean, dubby backdrop that the producers handle themselves. The project was issued as a five-track package, with the instrumental closing the circle after the “Confio Dub” version, giving the riddim its own final pass in full.
