Bad Summer Riddim – Anson Productions

Released in 2020, Bad Summer Riddim is a dancehall juggling from Anson Productions and Punz Ent that pulls together a sharp Trinidad and Caribbean lineup, led by Nailah Blackman and Medz Boss on Say Less. Raskality’s Braff Lyfe, Toppy Boss’s Steamy, Zebee’s Rich Badness, Icee Dan’s Wah You Need, Sammy Jo’s Day One, and Donpert’s Ready and Steady help give the riddim plenty of range, with clean and raw versions included on several cuts. The project runs 13 tracks in total and closes with the instrumental, keeping the focus on the groove while still leaving room for each artist to make a quick impact.
