Bad Diesel Riddim – Rokwon Production

Rokwon Production leans into a darker, harder dancehall edge on Bad Diesel Riddim, a 2019 juggling that pairs raw street energy with a tight, stripped-back bounce rather than the brighter reggae-leaning work the camp has also been tied to. Fully Bad’s “Shoot Out” feels like the anchor cut, while Tarick Dtren Setta’s “Wave It” and Bush Wakka’s “Di Girl Dem Fit Mi” push the rhythm into more playful territory, all riding the same blunt drum pattern and grinding low end. Karbine’s “Clean and Fresh” and Rhyden’s “Feel Right” keep the set moving without breaking the mood, and the instrumental sits at the end to let the riddim breathe on its own. The project runs six tracks in all, with the instrumental closing things out.
