Bacative Riddim from Ruff Kut Production lands in that hard-edged 2019 dancehall pocket: a stripped, rugged juggling with nine cuts and a cast that mixes veteran voices with sharper younger turns. Frisco Kid’s “Back It Up” and Jigsy King’s “Stab Out” give it immediate street-facing energy, while Pinchers on “Dont Play With It” and Lady T on “Kitty” keep the swagger moving across the set. Teknykal’s “Baby Can I, ” featuring Lady T, adds another angle to the project, and the whole thing runs as a tight nine-track release issued in late August 2019, with a runtime just over 26 minutes.
