ATTACK RIDDIM produced by YARDLINK254 & SCRAPPERS RECORDS 2013
Attack Overview
The Attack Riddim brought together some strong reggae voices in 2013. Talliban, known for the song “Real Love,” stands out for his heartfelt delivery. Natural Vibes, who gave us “Insane & Sick,” brought energy and passion to the project. Ras Bronx’s “Express Me Feelings” added a personal touch, while Quadvoice’s “Love You More” gave the riddim a smooth, loving vibe. Alex T contributed two tracks, “Bless Me Mother” and “I Love You,” showing his range and skill. The dub cut of Attack Riddim gave these singers and deejays a deep roots reggae base. This allowed each artist to express their message clearly, with the classic reggae sound supporting them. The riddim’s old-school style was a perfect match for the spiritual and conscious lyrics. Behind the scenes, the producers YARDLINK254 and SCRAPPERS RECORDS played a big role. YARDLINK254 is known for supporting new reggae talent and helping to keep the roots reggae sound alive in Kenya and beyond. SCRAPPERS RECORDS has released several notable reggae projects, helping to shape the modern reggae scene with their quality production and attention to detail. Looking back, the dub cut of Attack Riddim carried reggae’s message of unity and real life struggles in 2013. For reggae fans, this project is a strong reminder of how powerful the music can be when artists and producers work together with a shared vision. Attack Riddim remains a solid piece of reggae history from that year.
