Everton Hardweare, born 23 November 1967 in Kingston, Jamaica, is reggae and RnB recording artist. Melody met Tubby in the late 80s where he had his 1st single ‘Tie Me’ produced in 1987 by the label Firehouse. ‘Shower Me With Your Love’ became his 1st hit after Steely and Clevie produced it when they realized he really was talented. ‘Sayonara Tokyo’ was one hit that made Japan go into a frenzy in 1990 because Melody even performed it at a concert in Japanese. It was produced by Sony Music Japan and this opened another opportunity for Melody to get signed up with Parish Records in 1992, releasing his debut album Original. VP Records released the LP titled Sweeter in 1999 and the album made it big on various broadcasts worldwide. ‘Want You Back’ was a number 1 hit in Jamaica Star’s dancehall/reggae chart and its video scooped 2nd position on the MTV2. Amazingly that wasn’t enough, at the Reggae/Soca Music Awards, it was 1999 ‘Song of Year.’ The same year when the Tamika Reggae Awards were held, Melody went home with “Best Male Vocalist International.” S.H.E.M. Music Productions was the label he began in 2000 and started doing music for other artists like Turbulence. Moreover, he teamed up with Tony Curtis, Lukie D, and Thriller U to form the reggae group L.U.S.T. They made 2 albums, Sweetness Of Your Love and Inspiration which were released 2007 and 2010 respectively. 2002 saw the release of Expressions, his 3rd LP on VP Records, and the 4th LP was released on 17 January 2012, titled They Call Me Mr.Melody. The album had a very popular track called ‘Collide.’ Melody has done many compilations and productions over the years. One of the famous songs,’No Love’ released in 2017, received a good viewership on YouTube. Singing Melody sings on and continues providing his fans with good melodies.
