Craig Parks also known as “Mr Evil” was born and raised in St Andrews Jamaica. He is so to Lloyd Parks, a member of the We The People band. Parks’ father used to back artists like Dennis Brown and Prince Far I. Craig and he used to play along as his father’s band practiced and he became familiar enough with being in the recording studio which made it easier for him to leap into his music career as a producer. In 2005, he cut the hit “No STD” on the Ice Cube Riddim and the following year he struck gold with the hit “More Punanny”. A string of singles such as “Social Commentary”, “We A Gangsta” and “Wine It” followed and later on “Back It Up” which featured Sean Paul. In 2008, Parks signed with Sequence Records to release his debut album. His newly established label, Keep Left Records focused on developing other new artists. He produced riddims such as “Hot Winter”, “Dem Time Deh” and “Drop Drawers”.
