Seanizzle’s 90s Don Dada Riddim arrived in 2016 as a throwback to the hard-edged, swagger-heavy dancehall of the decade the title points to. Sean Reid, better known as Seanizzle, had already established himself as one of the modern era’s more reliable riddim makers, with a catalogue that stretches from early works like One Day Riddim into later projects such as Black Leather and 47th Floor. This one sits neatly inside that lane, but with a clearer nod to the classic ’90s era that shaped the whole genre.

The rhythm has that raw, brassy, streetwise feel: stripped-back enough for DJs, but animated by a punchy bounce that leaves room for chatter, bragging and slogan-ready hooks. It sounds made for pull-up moments and fast juggling, with vocals pushed right up front and the riddim doing the heavy lifting underneath.

The cast is strong and varied. Lady Saw’s My House brings veteran authority and sharp command, while Beenie Man’s Dynamite and Konshens’ Hustle Hard play right into the riddim’s hustler energy.
