Pandemonium Riddim (2014) – Trackhouse Records

Trackhouse Records’ Pandemonium Riddim sits in that busy 2014 soca stretch when the label was pushing out party-ready projects with a sharp Caribbean crossover feel. The cut that jumps out early is Cecile’s “Set Good Body, ” which rides the riddim with plenty of attitude, while Wayne Wonder’s “Sunshine” softens the edge a little and gives the compilation some melodic lift. Elsewhere, Delly Ranx’s “Shake It” and Leftside’s “Hell Yeah” keep the energy moving in a straight festival lane, all quick feet, bright hooks, and enough bass to shake a roadside truck.
