Diamond Riddim (2010) – Duttylinks Productions

The Diamond Riddim carries that clipped, mid-pace dancehall pull that leaves room for the voices to jab through the mix, with Duttylinks Productions keeping the framework lean and rhythmic rather than overdecorated. The line-up is compact too: Kibaki’s “Darker Than Night” opens the set with a tougher edge, Lutan Fyah’s “Cost Of Living” brings the conscious weight, and Tyrical’s “Save Dem” leans into the streetwise side of the riddim. There’s no excess here, just four cuts and four different angles on the same pattern, which is probably why the project lands so cleanly. Munga’s “Ride It” adds the more direct party pressure in the middle, but Lutan Fyah is the one who leaves the strongest mark, turning the riddim into something a little heavier than a straightforward dancehall loop.
