Anger Management Riddim came out in 2004 from Daseca Records and pulls together a sharp Dancehall set with 18 cuts, including performances from Beenie Man and Martina on Real Gangstas, Bounty Killer on Talk To Dem, and Vybz Kartel on Morning Mr Buddy and Nah Shot A Soul. Alaine’s Only For You, Daville’s No New Friend, Elephant Man’s Dirt Bed, and Movado’s Dem Nuh Real Mccoy help give the project real range, while the title version keeps the rhythm’s edge front and center. Daseca were already making a name for themselves as one of the era’s most reliable production teams, and this riddim sits right in that early-2000s run when their sound was shaping a lot of the Jamaican dancehall playlist.
