2014 was a year when dancehall kept leaning hard into lean, digital-flecked riddims, and Agony Riddim sat neatly in that current with just two cuts from Majah League Inc: Albeezy’s “Beautiful Girl” and Jrock Bennett’s “For You. ” The small lineup gives the release a tight, no-frills feel, with Albeezy’s sweeter edge offset by Jrock Bennett’s more direct romance chant, all riding a spare production that leaves plenty of room for the vocals to carry the mood. Majah League Inc kept it concise rather than crowded, and that economy is the point here, with the whole project built around those two songs and nothing extra.
