7H and DJ Fantaz give “Acid Riddim” a tight, stripped-back dancehall shape in 2019, and the title fits: this one has that sharp, acidic edge without drifting away from the groove. C-Quence’s “Clutchy Practice” feels like the most immediate cut in the small lineup, while Dekaava’s “Militant” and Fletchadon’s “Grimy” keep the energy rough and street-level, each riding the riddim with a different kind of pressure. It’s a short package, three tracks deep, but there’s enough bite in the production to make the whole thing land with a little extra menace, almost like a late-night session tucked away in the corner.
