On Youth Riddim, Revolutionary Brothers lean into a neat little roots-and-dancehall session that pulls together a mix of veterans and voices from the wider reggae circuit, including General Levy, Daddy Freddy, YT and LMK. The set came out in October 2019 and runs to 10 tracks, with Irregular Charly’s “Rat A Cut Bottle” appearing as a discomix and Far East Band closing things out with the instrumental cut, so there’s a proper version feel to the package rather than just a straight vocal roll-out. “What A Gwan” with Raphaël and “Dem No Real” from Daddy Freddy are among the sharper moments, alongside General Levy’s “Never Never. ” Revolutionary Brothers Music handle the production throughout.
