Four voices, one 2019 roots groove: Deep Roots Riddim keeps the focus tight, with Amar Azeez’s “Ready, ” Chantelle Bentick’s “Gods Work, ” Kingsley’s “My God, ” and Nexchange’s “In All I Do” all circling the same conscious lane. Amar Azeez comes in with a direct, prayerful turn on “Ready, ” while Chantelle Bentick leans into the devotional side of the cut, giving the riddim a more reflective pull.
