ZIONIERS RIDDIM produced by MASTER FLEX ENTERTAINMENT 2015
Zioniers Overview
In 2015, a new reggae rhythm started its journey in the studios of MASTER FLEX ENTERTAINMENT. Known for pushing street culture and keeping dancehall alive, this producer and label had already made a mark with their steady stream of riddims and singles. Their work often landed on playlists and in the hands of selectors, building a reputation for quality roots reggae. The foundation rhythm that would become the heart of the Zioniers Riddim was inspired by classic reggae from earlier decades. The team at MASTER FLEX ENTERTAINMENT carefully crafted each drum beat and bassline, making sure the sound felt both fresh and deeply rooted in tradition. The goal was to create a riddim that could carry strong voices and messages. Soon, artists from across the reggae world joined the project. Kafu Banton, known for his hit "No Quiero Mas Guerra En Mi Ghetto," brought powerful energy and a call for peace. Morodo, whose song "Tiempo De Critica" had already connected with fans worldwide, added his unique style and thoughtful lyrics. Raices & Cultura, with their track "Lions On The Road," continued their journey of blending roots and reality. I Nesta contributed with "In Zion," while Wilson’s "Big Vibes" rounded out the collection with a joyful spirit. When the release finally dropped, roots fans noticed. Sound systems played it loud. Playlists spread it far. Looking back, many still mention this 2015 foundation rhythm as a true revival of roots reggae, showing how classic sounds can inspire new generations.
