XLERATION RIDDIM produced by GERMAICA DIGITAL 2013
Xleration Overview
Xleration Riddim came out in 2013 and quickly became an important dancehall release. The riddim was produced by GERMAICA DIGITAL, a label known for working with artists from Jamaica and Europe. GERMAICA DIGITAL has a strong history in dancehall, helping to bring new sounds and artists to the world since the early 2000s. This riddim gave a big boost to both new and established artists. Vybz Kartel, one of dancehall’s biggest names, recorded “Marihuana Gone To Bed” for the project. Kartel is known worldwide for hit songs like “Fever” and for his influence on modern dancehall. Agent Sasco, also known as Assassin, contributed the track “Universal Language.” Agent Sasco is respected for his lyrical skills and has worked with international stars, including Kanye West on the album “Yeezus.” The riddim also introduced fresh voices. Sanjin & Youthman performed “For A While,” bringing a new energy to the scene. Bobi Wine - High Grade, a well-known artist from Uganda who later became a political leader, added the song “High Grade.” Bobi Wine is recognized for using music to speak on social issues in Africa. Xleration Riddim stands out for its mix of classic dancehall vibes and new ideas. GERMAICA DIGITAL’s production brought these artists together, making the riddim a favorite at parties and clubs. For dancehall fans, 2013 would not be the same without this lively and influential release.
