Out of Austria’s Germaica camp in early 2017, Replay Riddim keeps a tidy six-track shape and leans more toward clean, vocal-driven reggae than anything overly heavy. The set pairs Da’Ville’s smooth turn on “Surrender” with General Degree’s breezy “Feeling Irie, ” then shifts into tougher territory on Lukie D’s “Lock Dem Down” and Zagga’s “Remote, ” while Nyanda’s “The Way U Love” adds a more melodic, radio-ready edge. The instrumental rounds it off without crowding the singers, which suits a project that feels organized around concise hooks rather than excess. If there’s a track that leaves the sharpest mark, it’s General Degree’s “Feeling Irie, ” the one that seems to have carried the riddim’s earliest momentum.
