Wonderful Riddim from Bambino Musik sits right in that lean 2014 dancehall pocket where the groove does the heavy lifting: a tight instrumental frame that leaves plenty of room for the vocals to cut through. Charly Black’s “I Feel Rich” and I-Octane’s “Stress Free” bring the easy, celebratory side of the set, while Jahmiel’s “Beautiful Day” and Serani’s “Summer Fling” push it toward sweeter, more melodic territory. Kalado gets two passes with “House Party” in clean and raw versions, which says a lot about how the riddim was meant to move through both radio and street space.
