Winter Chillz Overview

The Winter Chillz Riddim brought together a strong lineup of dancehall tracks in 2015. The release included Esco — Money Money, Kconeil — Not This Time, Shane Hoosong — Against The World, Nyanda — Against The World, and Teflon — Words. Each artist brought their own style to the riddim, making the project stand out in the dancehall scene. Esco, known for his energetic delivery, led the release with Money Money. Esco first gained attention as part of the duo Leftside & Esco, and his work in dancehall has kept him in the spotlight for years. Kconeil added his smooth vocals to Not This Time. He has built a reputation for blending reggae, dancehall, and R&B, and his single Hot Like You made waves internationally. Shane Hoosong and Nyanda both performed Against The World, each offering a unique take on the riddim. Nyanda is best known as a member of the duo Brick & Lace, whose hit Love Is Wicked charted in several countries and became a dancehall anthem. Teflon delivered Words, bringing his conscious lyrics to the mix. Teflon is recognized for his roots-inspired style and social commentary in his music. Behind the project was KHEIL STONE MUSIC, a producer and label known for crafting dancehall and reggae riddims. KHEIL STONE MUSIC has released several projects that have gained attention in Jamaica and among international reggae fans. Winter Chillz Riddim became a favorite for selectors and was a highlight in dancehall parties throughout 2015.
