The rhythm sits in that hard-edged 2017 digital lane, with a clipped bounce and enough low-end weight to keep the vocalists in a constant tug-of-war with the beat. Fyne Style’s “Smoke It” opens the set with the kind of hooky, straight-to-the-point energy this riddim seems built for, while Masha Pat’s “Any Boy” and Naveesh’s “Gi Dem It” push the same militant pulse from different angles.
