Back in 2007, when dancehall was still churning out lean, street-level riddims with little room for excess, Vision Riddim kept the focus tight with just two cuts and a bare-bones credits slate. Diablo Dem’s “Pa Gen Besse Les Bras” has that raw, clipped energy that suited the era, while Young G. Z’s “Young G. Z” featuring Aigrima leans more into a melodic ride without losing the pressure. There’s no sprawling lineup here, just a quick snapshot of a moment when smaller digital releases could still cut through by sounding direct and unpolished.
