UNIFICATION AVENUE RIDDIM produced by ONE HARMONY 2015
Unification Avenue Overview
The Unification Avenue Riddim came together in the studio as a true team effort. The producer, ONE HARMONY, wanted to create a sound that honored reggae’s roots but also felt fresh for 2015. Known for supporting conscious reggae, ONE HARMONY has worked with both new and established artists, and has helped several releases reach streaming audiences worldwide. A key part of the riddim’s sound came from the dub engineer, who used creative mixing techniques to give the tracks a warm, classic feel. By blending old-school reggae rhythms with modern production, the engineer made sure the riddim could stand beside both vintage and new reggae releases. The project features a strong lineup of vocalists. Princess Anla delivers “Joy Of Your Love,” bringing heartfelt emotion to the track. Roger Robin, known for the hit “Take It Slow,” adds his smooth voice to “Here With You.” Tony Anthony, who was nominated for a JUNO Award for his album “Million Chance,” brings his soulful style to “My Love.” Patrick Irie’s “She'S An Angel” offers a gentle, uplifting message, while Clinark, recognized for his tribute album to Michael Jackson, gives a thoughtful performance on “What You Gonna Do.” Other artists on the riddim include Elaine Lilbit Shephard with “The Truth,” Dahlia with “Fall In Love,” Nadera with “God Alone,” Sweet Nadi with “Tear Drops,” and Kendra Celestra with “Stand Firm.” Each artist adds their own touch, but the riddim keeps everything connected.
